I Blame Anthony (Carrie's wedding suit)...

I thought Carrie's wedding suit was elegant and understated, and was perfect for her wedding to Big. She looked gorgeous at the end of the movie, with the suit, and the blue shoes, and her hair down and soft-looking. It definitely fit the 'I'm marrying a guy who's been married twice already' vibe they were going for.

But she made the mistake of showing it to Anthony, and that bitchy guy had to make it all about the 'label' and the spectacle of it all. If Carrie had shown the dress to Charlotte alone, things wouldn't have gotten so carried away. Can you tell I can't really stand Anthony? Stannie is way too good for him.

Of course, then Carrie did the Vogue shoot, and Carolina Herrera sent her the gown (which was one of my least favorite of the bunch, truthfully), and it all escalated from there.
