Firstly:

Did Joe Leiberman cost the Democrats the election?

If Warren Christopher had stayed would they have won the election?

If Al Gore had ran in 2004 would he have beaten Bush?

If Gore won in 2000 would the country want to elect another Democrat in 2008?

1. He certainly didn't help.
2. Possibly. Unlikely I'd say.
3. Maybe - John Kerry came fairly close to doing so and he was a fairly weak candidate.
4. Gore did pretty much win! But I know what you mean. Probably not. In a way it's worked out well with Obama.
