The reason why some think Palin is 'stupid'

The main reason most of these people think that a woman can't be attractive and intelligent, despite Palin proving otherwise with her long list of achievements & accomplishments, are projecting their own ignorance & experiences.

It says a lot about these people.

It sounds like the only attractive women they've ever known are actually stupid, which is why and how they likely got to know these women.

I don't think they know many attractive, intelligent successful women because those type of women would likely have little to do with the type of people that sling the kind of mud and BS that these Palin critiques do.

In other words, they are basically equating attractiveness with a lack of intelligence.

They can't fathom that a woman can be smart, attractive, successful, ambitious and display the numerous qualities that Palin has that made her so successful.

This says a lot more about them than they realize.

In other words, the only attractive women that give you the time of day are the women that lack intellect, which is why they allowed people like you to get to know them in the first place.

People who assume that all attractive women must be stupid are basically going by their own personal experiences.

The fact that smart, attractive women never let them near them for long says a lot about these Palin critics.

Yet they continue to call this self-made epitome of the American Dream "stupid"

No, she's not stupid. It's just that these people think attractive women are stupid because that's the only attractive women they have had any experiences with.

But what do you expect from people that can't correctly complete a ballot that they themselves designed and put into use, then blamed others for their "confusion" regarding the ballots?

And the fact the Gore lost TN speaks volumes. His own constituents wouldn't put him in the WH. Had he won TN, he wins the WH

And GWB's brother being the Governor of FL has nothing to do with any perceived shenanigans imagined by the left, who wanted an indefinite recount of the votes until they got a favorable result, and then declare victory.

Many on the left, including some Dems wanted a "do-over" a "Revote", and in counties favorable to Gore.

Yet it was the GOP that tried to steal the election?

They weren't the one's that were trying to change the rules of what counts as a valid vote and what doesn't, after the fact, after they lost and not the GOP

There are strict rules as to what constitutes a valid vote and what doesn't, yet the Dems wanted to change what constitutes a valid vote after the election had taken place, wanted a "revote" a "do-over" in Gore counties and to count the ballots as many times as it would take until they got a favorable result, then declare victory.

Everyone knows the more times a ballot is handled, the more chance it has of becoming invalid, which is exactly what the Dems attempted to do.

Imagine if the GOP threw out such ridiculous ideas and tried such blatantly unconstitutional stunts?

But it's people like Sarah Palin and Katherine Harris that are called stupid, despite the fact that they possess far more intellect than their critiques?

And Katherine Harris did her job as required by the rules by certifying the results by the required date, and the SCOTUS asserted that the Florida Supreme Court had violated Article II, § 1, cl. 2 of the Constitution by misinterpreting Florida election law.

Harris knew the law, knew what she was doing, yet so many on the left didn't.

Somehow, the movie left that part out and instead chose to clown Harris in a way that's usually reserved for SNL skits, not a movie of such gravity, yet she knew the law and knew it well, unlike many on the left that called her "stupid" (what a shock, the left engaging in misogyny. But not a word from NOW), yet they chose to portray her as a mindless ditz despite the fact that she was right and the Dems were wrong, and the SCOTUS agreed by a margin of 7-2 that she upheld the rules and also upheld the Equal Protection Clause according to the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution, yet the makers of this movie chose to portray her in the manner that they did.

The portrayal of Harris by Dern is not just an insult to Harris, it's an indictment of the bias of this movie and the ignorance by many on the left.

Once again, the person that many of you called "stupid" knew the law, knew the rules, knew the US Constitution, even knew it better than the Florida Supreme Court.

But yeah, keep proving how biased the media is with garbage movies like this and the 4 year media campaign to destroy good people like Palin and Harris, and continue to show how ignorant many on the left are as they prove it on a daily basis with this kind of garbage.

Harris was one of the smartest of the bunch in this movie and in this election, yet the media, along with the hacks that wrote this POS movie keep pushing their BS on gullible, intellectually lazy people that get their "facts" from fictional movies, SNL, The Comedy Channel and web sites like Media Matters and Huffington Post and classless a-holes like Bill Maher.

How many writers does Jon Stewart have? 14? or is it 16?
If he's so damn smart, why does need all these writers, not to mention a live audience to give him positive reinforcement. Same with Maher.
It's because their words can't stand on their own, so they have to fill the studio with like-minded people that will applaud when prompted to do so in an attempt to influence viewers.

More media bias. How many conservatives have a live audience to applaud their talking points in a pathetic attempt to view gullible, malleable viewers?

I actually had a political debate with a liberal the other night and his "source" for the main point of his debate and the "Smoking Gun fact" to back up his argument came from....a fictional political movie.

Take a good, long look in the mirror before calling successful, intelligent, self-made, successful people "stupid" and do a little research instead of showing everyone how intellectually lazy some of you are.

I can see Russia from my house.

She's absolutely brilliant. I'm sure she and Herb Cain (sic) will be sharing a Fox News show soon.

As a political independent, a lot of Palin's critics do call her stupid just because they disagree with her on the issues but her being unable to name a Supreme Court case she disagrees with other than Roe, not naming a newspaper she consistently reads and claiming to oppose the "Bridge to Nowhere" (when she was actually for it until it became nationally unpopular and even then defended the concept) are pretty indicative of a mix of low intelligence and low ethics, as is the idea that we can drill to energy independence and/or lower energy prices.
On the other hand, voting for Buchanan before you realize that there are two pages to the ballot and not admitting that the ballot was designed by a Democrat are also pretty low in both regards; OTOH again, voting for both Gore and Gore as a write-in, or even Gore, Buchanan and write-in Gore, does seem to show intent, which seems to have been the long-held standard in Florida.
Many commentators and this film admit it was ethically and strategically terrible to ask for recounting in only a few liberal-leaning counties, that a lot of "high ground" was lost in doing so.

And let's not forget one very important thing: the non-Tea Bagger section of the Republican party has stayed as far away from Palin as possible. McCain still hasn't spoken to her.

Of course, Gore demanded recount after recount but couldn't even win his home state of Tennessee. Win that, and Florida wouldn't have mattered. Even Dole and Mondale won their home states in 1996 and 1984.

Have you ever heard Palin speak? There's your reason.

Tl;dr, except a bit at the top. Beauty is (mostly) subjective. For example, when I see a photograph Sarah Palin's profile, I notice how gigantic and square her head is. A big block of granite, and just as dense.

Now, what's cool about her is she was a vice presidential candidate and her family is complete trash. Drunken brawls, tractor races, mystery pregnancies, tattoos, all kinds of cool stuff! And she can see Russia from her house, so she has good eyesight.

What's cool about Kaherine Harris is she's a complete idiot, and not afraid to be one in public. I admire that courage. Plus she dresses and acts like a hooker, and I'm totally pro-prostitution. Check out her news show appearances when she announced for US Senate. Wowza!

If you take the above seriously -- which you should -- then you'll realize that it absolutely does not matter who occupies these offices. Democrats are as bought and paid for as Republicans, they're all in it for their own benefit, and may the lord smile and the devil have mercy!

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and just say maybe it's the way you organize your thoughts via text, but you really sound insane here haha!

Also, a late-night news comedy show which airs every day having many writers is standard fare. I don't really like The Daily Show but you could say the same thing about literally almost any daily tv show on. Live audience is pretty standard also for any type of comedy show, so I'm not sure what you're comparing this to? MSNBC is the Fox News foil, these guys you're naming are just comedians that report the news as part of their schtick.

As for Palin though - maybe I'm spoiled from having grown up in Metro NYC and spent a lot of time in Europe - but Palin is probably slightly below average attractiveness if we're comparing her to the rest of the population, not some self-imposed standard.

I mean I'm sure she's attractive for a place like Alaska where big-eating and cold winters aren't too kind to the human body, but put her in any coastal US city or literally anywhere in Europe and she's on the left side of the bell curve, definitely less attractive than average. Look at her "beauty pageant" pictures from Alaska - they're laughable - you could find a MUCH more attractive group of women if you walked into a random Warsaw coffee shop or NY night club!

Just bc a woman isn't fat and has average features doesn't make her "attractive" outside of places like Alaska or the Mid-West lol.

I am not putting her down either, saying this out of spite or anything, and I really do believe that she must have well above average emotional intelligence to have risen to the position that she did, but to call her an intelligent woman in general and attractive just makes you sound biased with a strong agenda.
