SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY
My family comes from Arkansas. I left decades ago and went to college and built a good life for me and my family. This whole nightmare situation could have been easily avoided. All that the Sumners had to do when Charlie and his crew came to work on the roof, was to go bring out plenty of beer and throw down some barbeque for the boys around noon. Maybe if David would have embraced a more neighborly attitude and accepted Charlie's offer of friendship right off, the entire mess wouldn't have happened. Respect runs both ways in the south. Charlie probably would've chopped the price down on the roffing as well. Oh well.
