Looking to watch Generation Kill

Really trying to watch this. I remember seeing part of it WAY back when on HBO and thought it was amazing, but I only saw one or two episodes. I work at the public library where we rent out DVDs in addition to books and media. We have Generation Kill the book, and I absolutely loved the wire with it being probably my favorite show of all time.

I have rented out the Generation Kill book, and I am really trying to find a way to watch the series without BUYING it. I dont mind paying for it to rent through on demand, just as long as its watchable, I would prefer high def but I can be happy with anything!

Does anyone know where this is available to watch other than buying the entire miniseries?

We have HBO and HBO on Demand, but they only show certain shows at a time on HBO on Demand and I have not been able to find Generation Kill on On Demand, If I could watch it through OD this would be awesome. Anyways Any help would be appreciated. I am not looking to download it from a torrent and watch on the computer, I would rather watch it on my 60 inch television with surround sound, in high def. I also have netflix, a Wii, and youtube. Thank you all so much, any input is appreciated!

You could torent it, then hook your computer up to the Big screen, Have you tried Redbox online to reserve your copy? It gives you a login at the redbox of your choice to get your reserve.

I saw it on Netflix but that was back in the DVD days of 2010.
Or maybe get a copy from another library thru interlibrary loan.

HBO Go is another good method. If you already have HBO, its free. Its WAY better than on demand. Currently through HBO Go they have 269 movies avaiable, and (from what I can tell) all the series.

I am rewatching Deadwood and Generation Kill currently. I access it through an App on my xbox, but its also on my phone and on the PC. Could be an app on your TV too...

Thanks, I have HBO GO on the Ipad but I cant get it on the television. I would much rather watch this on my 60 inch tv than my ipad. Still looking for it.

I'm sure there is some kind of cable you can use to connect an iPad to one of the TV's various video inputs.

Do a search for the show on HBO Go. It's there, you just have to do a search for it. If you have a Roku you can watch HBO Go on your TV.

If you have a Roku you can watch HBO Go on your TV.

Unless you are a DirecTV subscriber, DirecTV doesn't allow their subscribers to stream HBO GO via the Roku.
