Confused about all the platoons, squads and teams

Hey. I would be very thankful if someone could clarify some of these terms for me. I've watched three episodes of the show now and I enjoy it a lot. I just don't understand the hierarchy of the battallion and it makes me confused all the time. Here are some things I don't understand:

- Division, platoon, squad, team. What's the difference?

- Alpha and Bravo. What are they and who commands them? Which main characters belong to which group?

- Hitman, Assassin, Raptor. What are they? I have no clue.

I've been trying to find a picture describing the hierarchy but I haven't found one. Thanks for anyone who can clear these things up for me.

It's not a picture, but somewhere in Telvision Without Pity's recap for episode one explains the heirarchy.

It's times like these that I am so glad I watched it on blu ray. I can't even say how many times I had to refer to the interactive features to look up definitions, rankings etc. That and the subtitles were a lifesaver, I honestly have no idea how anyone could have watched the show without them.

I thought it was awesome how the dvd box had a list of the chain of command and a glossary of terms. I had that within arms reach for the whole series.
