Snyder is Washed Up. Renny Harlin/Martin Brest/Wachowskis-Type of Washed Up

This movie apparently succeeded, commercially, IN SPITE of him. It's mediocre on just about every level except for some try-hard performances and Netflix giving this turd a large-enough budget to overcome itself

I don't want to waste too many words on a movie like this, so let's just keep this review short. It's a collection of clichés. Every element of filmmaking in this film falls back on clichés.

I was optimistic about this movie. Zack Snyder was going back to doing R-rated movies. It's a zombie film PLUS a heist film. Seemed like an easy win. What we got, instead, was a live-action video game. All of the CGI (including shots of basic things like flames) looked like it was straight out of a video game

This is a VOD quality movie, 100%. Thank you, Zack, for managing to hit us over the head again with a perfectly ham-fisted soundtrack that included Viva Las Vegas by Elvis and Zombie by The Cranberries. You really are as simple-minded as you make yourself out to be in interviews
