Hate this movie? Consider the inspiration.

No, I was not an early comic book owner. They are much older than that.

Here's the deal. As a comic book subject it wasn't all that to begin with. In fact, what "saves" this movie (not that "save" is the right term) is Rogan and the comedic value it sort of has.

It wasn't even that good a comic book. After all, Kato is the real hero, and that was true in the comic too. No, the real fault lies with whoever thought it would be a good idea to make a movie out a piss-poor comic book subject to begin with.

I gave it a six and I was being way too generous.

Watta ya lookn here for?

green hornet was the brains, kato was the muscle, that's the way it ALWAYS was before this turd of a film that even Seth Rogen has disowned and admitted isn't good. heck, in the early days kato did nothing apart from driving the car. this whole "Kato is the real hero" crap is a misconception, long held by idiots who know nothing about the source material.

It wasn't based on a comic book. It came from a radio show originally before being adopted into a movie serial, comics, and a live action TV series. And Kato wasn't more then the driver until the TV series when they felt they had to take advantage of then-barely known Bruce Lee's martial art skills.
