how sad is it that back in december i started a thread saying there was no reason to even talk about this movie anymore, no one has responded to the thread since January, and its STILL ON THE FIRST PAGE? Good grief, the general public really has forgotten about this movie, havent they. There are graveyards that have more life than this pathetic board. I just thought id pop my head in and say that. Good bye everybody.
Not so long. Here we go again. *Why* was this pos made? To make ca$h. Did that happen? No. They lost m0ney on this. Therefore, GHI needs ca$h more now than ever.
You make m0ney when you *do* something with that character. Simple as that.
So, in order to post on this board, I have to know what GHI means? You couldn't just explain it? Whatever, it's probably something you made up anyway. And, I'm on here because the original poster NEEDS to get over this film.
yeah man, I'll agree with you there. I don't think he'll ever get a budget like that again. However, I told you 2 years ago that Rogan wasn't a Pauly Shore or Tom Green and since he just started his new movie The Interview with James Franco, can't we say that he isn't just a flash in the pan? The green hornet is an old character. Look at other characters that were on the radio. The shadow--that movie didn't do well. Amos and Andy--oh, they can't make that movie. Little Orphan Annie--they will made that movie, but they'er changing the main characters name. The Lone Ranger...yeah, that bombed. Some characters just can't survive a revival. Dare I say that the Pink Panther wouldn't have survived if the new films hadn't been rated PG. Any way, I'm rambling, but I don't think Rogan deserves the continued hate. I saw a post where you compared him to Adam Sandler and will Ferrell. Really? I don't think studios would agree. ---You're a good guy and you've taught me a lot about how studios make their money. I like reading your posts. Keep on keepin' on.
Seth Rogen is working. Never said he wasn't. What I said and still say is that his career the one he had is done. We agree that he will no longer star in his own big budget projects. That is what I'm talking about. He's more or less done. Can still still find work. Sure. Is the work he had ? No. Is he still the Golden Boy hew was in 2007? No.
Those movies you mention are bad not because the characters are "old". It's because the movies are bad and went out of their way to ignore fandom. If any of those were good movies and were geared to their respective fan bases, those would have been hits.
You're not rambling. You make sense. As far as Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell go they are also having a tough time making profits with big budgets so the studios are bound to notice that sooner or later.
I'm glad you call me a good guy and that I taught you somethings and I'm glad you like my posts. I usually get the opposite.
No, people don't use this board because of the gang of hating trills that are still here years after the release, pouncing on and abusing anyone that commented.
