This film is terrific.
I've always loved The Green Hornet. Never understood the hate.
shareI thought they did a good job. With so many superhero movies all serious and dark, it was nice to see one splashed with a lot of humor. Some would say too much, but I enjoy the movie whenever I watch it. I liked how it played out more like a romantic comedy than a standard action movie. the leads meet unexpectedly, bond, breakup, then get back together. Just replace romance with crime fighting.
shareYup. It depends on people. Gondry's movies always have a good dose of silly fun injected. Its 3d is also very badly done but Gondry wanted that ViewMaster 3D feel. It does work out pretty well. No dragged out awkward-humor, no immature raunchy jokes despite our protagonist was pretty immature.
Agreed. It was not good, but far from bad! :D
shareit was a critical failure.
it was a commercial failure.
fans hated it.
the general public doesn't even remember it.
seth rogen and michael gondry have both admitted the movie isn't any good.
it's driven a stake through the heart of a potential film franchise, maybe for decades to come, with its incompetence.
you insist this movie is good, but in the words of The Rock "It doesn't matter what you think."
LOL

I loved it too. it was a fun movie to watch from beginning to end
shareI liked it. It's no masterpiece, but it is a good time waster.
Just the fight between Reid and Kato is worth the price of admission.
I just watched it again for a second time last night. I watched it when it came out a couple years ago and I don't think I hated it but I was underwhelmed... But last night I thought it was really great fun and I laughed a lot. I think the best part was when Cameron Diaz didn't end up with either of them, which is cool from a fem standpoint.
Overall I don't understand the resounding hate on the boards. It's funny and light and I could easily watch it a third time.
It's just this dwlow guy hating on it.
He hates this film so much, he posts on the board more than any other person.
