What would it matter?
You won't catch anything, or get pregnant, and you really don't know who is 'behind' another random surrogate, (should they choose not to tell you the truth **snicker**, including M/F/"other"). In the movie, there didn't seem to be any particular shortage of surrogates models around, (and they could be 'modified'), so people that could afford it could "put on" different surrogates like people change clothes. (Think secret cellphone(s)...) Just like at the very end of the movie when the agent's surrogate was controlled by one person, then another, and the people around that surrogate didn't know who was controlling it.
