It a selling point thing. Banna Splits wasn't a horror show either.

it wasn't but its a great concept on the show.. make it creepy fantasies. I like the concept.

The pilot was scary, though everyone lived at the end

Then they romanticized it to be more in line with "The Love Boat," which immediately preceded it ABC Saturdays

Both shows became a "guest star" showcase for rising stars and has-beens alike
