I have just started watching this series recently, and I am shocked by the number of restaurants that use microwaves. If I wanted that, I would buy a TV dinner at the supermarket. In one episode, Chef Ramsay threw one out of the window. He should do that more often. It would be interesting to know how many successful restaurants are doing that too.

Chef Mic' -- the cheapest hire ever.


On the plus side of the series, if you watch enough episodes you can start to spot the telling signs that you are eating as a restaurant that not only uses a microwave (assuming you can't taste it), but makes it's food, then freezes it for a week.
