By those percentages..Just a guess but the rest are probably not far off. A lot of the people in the US version just wanted the money for the makeover and the publicity so they can sell the business. There's an article mentioning this (at least one). So, you'd really have to go case by case to get a more accurate idea of the truth. And I'm not bashing GR, I know in the first or second season of the U.K. version he got accused of causing the restaurant/pub to close. Can't remember if she sued. I think she was the one with the head chef who was like 20 years old and couldn't even cook the most basic foods correctly. He admitted he BS'd her into getting the job and later went into a different career. I can't remember what Gordon asked him to cook but it was something any homemaker or man or woman could likely do. Shows you how I can still recall the UK version's episodes years later but the US version mainly just blend together in my head after only a couple of years.

That was Sue Ray at Bonaparte's, and the 21-year-old "head chef" was Tim Gray. She accused Ramsay of all sorts of nonsense, but nothing came of it. In fact, Ramsay won a judgment against a newspaper that had published a story saying scenes in that episode were faked.
