I can't answer your question, but if it's any consolation he hasn't worked at Mixing Bowl since, oh, right around the time that episode originally aired. That's because it closed (some 9 years ago). 

Just watched the Mixing Bowl. Did it shut down almost as soon as Gordon helped them? It amazes me how some staff get away with murder. Mike strutted his stuff like he owned the place. Attitude like that to the owner (wife) would of have him out those doors so quickly. I hope he shared the tips fairly amongst his co workers afterwards.

If I had been the owner, I would have fired him on the spot for screaming at me. She must be a very forgiving person. If I had been her husband, I probably would have personally "escorted" him out.
