Black Pearl

They didn't do a quick re cap on this restaurant. Does anybody know what happened? David was a right s#%t. Gordon was right, all he thought was making a quick buck while his other partner worked harder and was more passionate about the place. It always rings alarm bells for me when an owner/partner waltzes in a couple a days a week and half into serving time. What does that tell you? He couldn't give a s#%t!

You're probably not going to be surprised: it closed. On a revisited episode, Gordon goes back to where it used to be, and he calls Steven (the nice server) and meets up with him in the restaurant that replaced it. Steven tells Gordon his last paycheck from Black Pearl bounced, and also that David sold the lobster machine! 

That really pisses me off. David was a total Wanker. You could see his arrogant little mind working, not liking anything that Gordon suggested or did. He didn't even like the dishes GR served up. I'm surprised the other two didn't stand up to him. Makes you wonder what he is doing now. If the three have split, they are well rid of him.
