" We Got Homemade Meatballs! "

That episode was my second favorite, La Galleria being my favorite with Rita and Lisa

The twins Jim and Jeff were riduculous

I think my top 3 Kitchen Nightmares would be Oceana, La Galleria pt 2, and the twins.

Fraaaank. FRANK! Get my jean bin. Susie wants my jeans.
No she doesnt.

I agree with all of those, but I have to add Sebastian's and Secret Garden. I must say one of the best lines ever was from Moe in the Oceana episode. "I should have bought a British dictionary"!

Same here. Of course. 

One of them said something like "he's from British...he doesn't speak English." And let's not forget the "busy idiot" comment! 

The smarter brother that appears to be younger, Rami, is the only reason that place works. I live in New Orleans and that place was hated until Ramsay came down and fixed it. And it still is not a very good restaurant by any means. You can hear Moe yelling from the back all the time, it just seems to be the way he speaks.

But yeah the smarter brother says to Moe on the show something to the effect of
"He's from Britian, they don't speak English there. There "busy idiot" means something different"
Moe-"Busy idiot is a good thing"
Rami-"Yeah, he was giving you a compliment"

Cut to testimonial shots

Rami-"I know it isn't a compliment. I just told Moe that or else he would be talking about it all day"

Moe-"Man, I should have bought a British dictionary. It took me a long time to learn my language!l".....what an idiot.

And that crazy chef that they fired Damon, that guy was ca sweaty liar that twitches his eyes and everything else when he is being confrontational or stressed

It is different having a restaurant somewhere like in or close to the French Quarter as it is where Bourbon Street and a lot of famous places are steps away from each other. At the same time, there is so much foot traffic that if you can't keep butts in your seats, there is a serious problem.
Bottom line. I do not recommend that place to anyone looking for good N'awlins food. I mean obviously, there are plenty of amazing restaurants that don't still use their participation in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares as a draw to their establishment. Where it seems like the fact that you had to get Gordon to show you how to run your restaurant would be something you wouldn't really want to advertise. The great restaurants down here just rely on their food and atmosphere to speak for them. Now the possibility exists for people to go watch the episode, get grossed out and never come back. Zekes in Metairie, which is like on the outskirts of New Orleans, was horrible too and closed down. I hope the two young chefs landed on their feet somewhere else though. Gordon shows they have talent on that episode when he allows them to create their own dishes and tricks the annoying owner.

I felt terrible when I read that Zeke's closed...for the loyal employees not the selfish owners. The horrible way they treated and spoke to the people who stuck by the restaurant and did their best for it was disgraceful. There have been many owners who annoyed and angered me, but they downright infuriated me!

Slight correction: he said "He's from BRITISH..." That's part of why it was so hilarious. 

That cracked me up too. If I was to ask Moe where is England, I doubt I'd be surprised by his answer.

Lol sorry the auto correct fixed it. You are absolutely right that's what made it ten times funnier.

"He's from British, they don't speak English there"

He says something else ridiculous too but I can't remember off the top of my head. Just the fact that he refers to it as "British" every time while referring to the nation is just wow.

reply

"Chef Ramsey, i gotta step over to this side because the crab cakes are frozen."

...and then Moe slaps himself in the head.

I honestly think that the restaurant would be more successful and have better food if it was just Rami running the place. Just leave Moe in that weird ass headspace of his...that's a full time job by itself. May require medication, restraints, as well as padded walls but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do lol.
