shareJust recently watched this episode and I'm not quite sure what to make of Jen. She doesn't seem to like her husband very much. I know she doesn't want to be considered a trophy wife, but she certainly acts like one. Her mean comments towards her husband, coupled with the fact that she doesn't want to be in the same room with him, just gave me the impression that he disgusts her. But he clearly has (or had) money, and she's quite a bit younger and prettier compared to him. Looks like a trophy wife to me.
I didn't necessarily dislike her, she was the most entertaining person in the episode, but listening to her constant grunts, groans, and sighs was so off-putting. She groaned and rolled her eyes at everything, at a certain point it just began to irritate me.
I wonder if Jen and Saki are still married. Saki seemed like a nice, easy-going guy, but Jen just doesn't seem to like him enough and it really shows.
Myself, husband and our son were featured on this episode. Jen actually gave my husband a really sloppy cut of prime rib but he was so hungry and tired of waiting he didn't say anything. In the scene she asked him if he would like the horseradish on the meat or side and when she sets the plate down, it's with a different diner with a better cut..gotta love editing!
