Why PG-13?

i thought this movie looked good until the PG-13 rating. granted, this might still be funny, the PG-13 rating is a bad choice. All the movies like this (all the friday films, all about the benjamins, cb4, i'm gonna git you sucka, boomerang, i think i love my wife, the house party films) have all been r, why must they water it down to PG-13?

Sometimes comedies are funnier when they aren't completely obscene. Why does everything have to be extreme?

i'm not saying everything has to be extreme, i'm saying for something like this, a PG-13 rating provides less funny opportunities

Friday After Next, All About the Benjamins, and half of the House Party films were R and sucked somethin' awful. And I Think I Love My Wife is in a whole other league; a more social commentary or satire on marriage and middle age. It doesn't belong with movies about black people partying. Soul Plane was also R and terrible. The rating doesn't have jack to do with it when your movie just sucks and promotes black foolishness.
