I've heard him without the auto-tune and he cannot sing. If he could actually sing then he wouldn't need much auto-tune at all, but he overuses it which makes him sound even worse.

^^Well, I don't know what you heard, but the guy sounds the same to me if he sings live, just without the effects.

^^There are plenty of people that have used Auto-Tune and can still sing naturally. Even R Kelly used it and everybody knows he can sing.
If you want to say it was overused by a person, that would be Lil Wayne. He sounds horrible using because he can't actually sing for real.

Everyone who sings uses auto-tune because it's for pitch perfection, so I'm not saying anyone who uses it just flat out can't sing. But T-Pain really can't, and neither can Lil Wayne for that matter so I agree with you there. When I say that T-Pain overuses it I mean that he uses too much on every song which ends up with him sounding like a robot all the time. And the same goes for Lil Wayne and everyone else who uses it the wrong way. But he does also overuse it in the sense that he uses it way too much since he uses it on every song he does.
I'm just not a fan, although he had a couple funny lines in this movie, and I'm not trying to say you're wrong or anything because it's just both our opinions.
