Gyp Rosetti wasn't very menacing, more comical

Gyp Rosetti (Bobby Cannavale) as the main villain of season three seemed to turn the series into a farce, making it comical to me. I know that when seasons go down hill they parachute in someone to save the programme, but this actor didn't seem to flesh out a menacing figure.

Rosetti is so bizarre, and yes that is one of the reasons why I like him. I never know what to expect, and he seems to like to mess with people and then call them on their responses sometimes enough to kill them on the spot. But he met his end, didn't he?

The reality is that there ARE people who are just like Gyp Rosetti.

Yes, as you know most of the people in this series are based on real people. I especially like the actor who portrays Al Capone.

Gyp Rosetti was one of my favorite characters simply because he was funny and a complete loon, and I thought Bobby Cannavale did a great job. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Bobby was the only actor from Boardwalk who won an acting award during its run.
