Most people watch the trailer, and see Vanessa Hudgens/Alyson Michalka on movie posters and automatically think its just another cheesy Disney highschool musical kinda movie. Too bad thats what people think because its actually a REALLYYY good movie! I totally didnt expect to love it so much!

Bandslam is kinda like Raise Your Voice or Step Up - not even close to HSM or Camp Rock..

Damn right! Everyone i spoke to thought the movie would be HSM-esque because of VH. How fricken wrong? If they had an unknown to play VH or someone different the box office would be a different story :(
