Ami I the Only One...

who liked Evan? Sometimes. I liked some of him in the last season SOMETIMES. His hotness really improved in the last couple of season.
Also I feel like the only person who thought Cappie and Rebekah made somewhat of a nice couple? I understood why they needed and wanted each other, there relationship was never meant to be a real relationship it was more just secret sex spies as they called it. and they realized why a real relationship would never work out between the two of them.

I'm with DannyGokeyFan - Evan was my favourite from the first episode. I always seem to like the not-so-nice characters. I guess they're much more interesting to me. But then, to contradict myself, I hated Rebecca! lol
I wasn't a fan of either the Cappie/Rebecca or Evan/Rebecca pairings.

I wasn't a huge rebeckah fan at first but then I started to like her more and more as the series went on. she was still not likable but thats what made her character

At times I felt sorry for him, however it was hard most of the time. Though I liked it when Rusty and Cappie began to understand him more and made amends.

Anyone else think Rebecca and Dale would have been an interesting pairing?

reply

I hated Evan. Not because of any of the specific things he did. He just came off as a completely arrogant douche to me even when he was doing nice things.

But I always liked Cappie best with Rebecca. I thought they had great chemistry. And I adore Rebecca. I loved her from the first minute she was on screen. I think that she was basically honest and upfront about who she was and what she wanted.

I also loved Cappie/Rebecca and thought they had great chemistry. Way better than him and Casey!

I've only just watched the show for the first time and I loved Evan from the beginning. I'm afraid I never saw anything in Cappie, but, I loved Evan from the first episode. You couldn't blame him for the way he was with his upbringing and he tried to redeem himself and get away from his family. And I loved him and Casey together and wished they had got back together in the end .............. I always preferred Cappie / Rebecca to either Cappie / Casey or Evan / Rebecca

I'm pretty sure the reason Rebecca broke up with Cappie was because he still wasn't over Casey, and they both knew it. I think they cared for each other deeply, but it wasn't fair because Cappie wasn't 100% in the relationship.

I was a huge Evan fan. I think the show at the start wanted to make him the protagonist, but after awhile, they realized he was much more than the evil rival Omega Chi member.

The whole Cappie-Evan feud was kind of silly. Sure guys fight over girls ALL the time. However, they both had a LONG past growing up. Especially after they reconcile, the thought that they wouldn't make it public was stupid. For Frat-mates who questioned their friendship or their detente, they could say, "listen, i have known Cappie (or Evan) for so years on end. We could be rivals w/ the other frat, yet not hate them."

reply

The real reason they wouldn't make it public was because of their houses. They could say that but I don't think they would have been respected in the end. Look how quickly they turned on Calvin the short time he was president because he wanted to make amends with Kappa Tau?

The truth is I didn't like Evan until later on in the show. Like during the second half of season four I believe.

Just got secretly engaged to the best guy ever!!

reply

No, I loved him from the beginning to the end.

I liked Evan, he was one of my favourite characters
