I kept thinking he was going to show up at some point. I guess they decided not to add him so they can have another movie at some point in the future and pretend that Ryan Reynolds abomination doesn't exist. Of course he'll probably be played by John Boyega.

On that note, WB needs to reboot the entire franchise. That means brining in new writers, new cast members and taking their dang time with making movies that tell good stories and are quality.
It makes me "Batty" (yes, intended pun) that DC has so many good characters and yet they end up with such bad movies. Let's don't have anymore dark tones for DC on the big screen. Seriously, those movies make you want to give up all hope and accept oblivion. Marvel gets overly criticized for their movies being too comedic. To that charge, I say just look at the proof their method works. Black Panther is a C-list character who's movie just became only the 5th movie to pass 200 million on it's opening weekend. And WB couldn't even get that kind of money with JL, their super team-up movie with A-list characters. These are comic book movies WB, not literary tragedies, so stop presenting them in such a depressing way!
Of course, rebooting and getting better stories will alleviate most of these issues.
Please WB - REBOOT!
