Contractor: I'm sorry Mr. Wayne, we have orders to tear this building down
Bruce Wayne: B-b-b-b-but whyyyy???
Contractor: We're building a Thor Ragnarok Theme Park here.
I just care for Galactus and Silver Surfer. Those need to be well represented in all their full proper glory. Silver Surfer and Galactus' story are by far the ones I care most in all CBs. What Fox did to them was excruciating. A cloud...? seriously?
I know they want to bring Galactus as the big baddy. But I so hope they portray him as the Cosmic Entity that needs to exist to keep balance in the Universe like in the CB's rather than just a villain.
I'm torn on whether Hugh Jackman should come back. I know he's been wanting to go over to Marvel forever, and he deserves that.
But he's 49 now. While it doesn't really matter what age Wolverine is, if Hugh Jackman signs on for a trilogy or many appearances, he's going to be doing this well into his......60s?
And given the immense popularity of Wolverine, that character is going to be in high demand and used a lot too.
I doubt the MCU will bring Hugh for the role. I wouldn't want it either, not even as fan service. The MCU must reboot the entirety of the X-Men story line and that includes the actors. Keeping the same actors around would make it look like the Fox X-Men movies are "canon" to the MCU [which means Apocalypse as well... yukkk]; which could potentially damage the viewers perspective on the MCU as a self contained universe.
I would definitely give him another role. A villain this time. He is a good actor, he could play a character from the Savage Lands. That way he could keep his "savage" persona and would be a good way of introducing that area into the MCU. Maybe Kraven the Hunter.
Nah X-men is better than the MCU I think. Logan beats any MCU movie this year critically. X-men, X-men 2, X-men First, Class, X-men Days of Future Past, and Logan are on par with any MCU film critically. The weak links are X-men 3 the last stand, X-men Origins Wolverine, The Wolverine and X-men Apocalypse. MCU has duds as well The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, and Thor the dark world.
It's okay Mcu is overrated as well. Other comic book movies have shown to be better or just as good. Logan is the prime example. A better received film than any mcu film this year. As a matter of fact that can stand against any mcu movie critically.
Your lack of ability to back up your claims is legendary. Get more knowledge on cinema please. Good cinema exists outside of the mcu.
If someone asks you to back up your claims and all you can do is label you know you have no credibility. All you do is throw out buzz words and think it proves a point. Why did Logan suck I'm curious to hear what your reasons are for that being bad. You will proceed to label without elaborating.
I am a fan of DC. The only DC film I have liked since the Nolan era has been Wonder Woman.
Man of Steel was bland crap, bvs somehow managed to be one of the worst big budget blockbusters of the decade. Suicide squad was a cringe fest and justice league sucked. Well to be fair I did not even see Justice League because it looked so bad. I have a strong feeling it was bad as well.
Where did you get the impression I liked a DCU movie outside of Wonder Woman?
I like mcu movies as well as Donner's Superman, Raimi's Spider-man, certain X-men installments. I may have my preference but I can enjoy any brand of film as long as it's good.
My favorite comic book movie ever is Spider-man 2.
Only Nolan movies I found good, were Batman Begins and Interstellar. Good, solid movies.
Rest are edgy overrated pieces of pretentious crap, made to make stupid people feel "edgy" and smart... (Haven't seen Dunkirk).
MoS was enjoyable, same with BvS, if you watch the ultimate edition - but not great in any way. WW is the pinnacle of DCEU, finally breaking throuhgh, with an overall good movie, followed by JL, which was pure crap, along with SS.
The best hero movie for me also, will most likely always be "Spider man 2". As Yuri Boyka would put it; "it's the most complete super hero movie in the world." :P
Do not project it is a douche bag move. If you find them overrated cool but the minute you say it is made to make stupid people feel edgy and smart is overstepping your bounds. You disliked the movie do not act as if you can speak for the people who enjoy those films.
I found Man of Steel to be tedious to sit through. It was such a Batman Begins wannabe. Might as well have called it Superman Begins. Recycling things from Batman Begins and Donner's Superman films did not impress me. On top of being derivative of those films it is not even well done in my book.
BVS I found to be worse than Suicide Squad. Both bad but at least Suicide Squad ended faster. BVS had some of the worst writing in recent memory. What was the point of that dream sequence? Of what relevance did it have for the film?
Why does Batman have no issue killing people yet in the end he lets Lex Luthor live? How does Lex's dna create Doomsday simply by sprinkling his blood on Zod's corpse? Why should I have to watch the ultimate edition in order for the film to make more sense?
See even though you enjoyed movies which I thought were total shit I did not speak on your behalf. I simply listed why I disliked them. If I was to do what you did I would say Man of Steel and BVS were made for people without attention spans. I did not do that.
I agree on Spider-man 2 everything else though I disagree.
Someone who can not back up their argument with actual logic or form together a grammatically correct sentence can not use the word ignorant without looking silly.
The minute your grammar. knowledge, and logic improves get back to me. I wont hold my breath lmao!
"Someone who can not back up their argument with actual logic"
You seem to think you are deserving of any "backing up". You're not, snowflake. You get what I decide you should get.
"or form together a grammatically correct sentence"
And yet you understand what you read. Congratafuckinglations for the non-sequitur of nonsense. :)
"can not use the word ignorant without looking silly"
The irony!!!!!!!
"The minute your grammar. knowledge, and logic improves get back to me. I wont hold my breath lmao!"
reads as: "i'm a batman fuckboy who thinks too highly of himself, but my high moment of the day is saying some random crap on the internet, because I'm a lonesome ameba-like vegetative brain virgin idiot who butt-fucks himself with Batman figurines and quietly whimpers at night in shame for being said lonesome ameba-like vegetative brain virgin idiot who butt-fucks himself with Batman figurines"
PS - DK is terribly overrated.
Come back at me when it's not. :)
PS2 - I like to make you cry and come back for my attention.
No you are incapable of giving me an actual response. So now you are going to play it off like you're not willing to. You and I both know you're full of shit.
LMAO! That is how you know you are a joke. You attack my person when you know nothing about me. You claim that I am a virgin and where is your evidence of this? Even if I was let me ask this why is calling someone a virgin an insult?
TDK is rated just fine it is only the in denial MCU fanboys which get salty about the reception it gets.
I noticed though anything that gets good reception without the MCU brand on it pisses you off. Wonder Woman got good reception as well. Critically it is on par with some of the best MCU films.
I do not like it therefore it is overrated. It has to get through me in order for others to consider it great is your mentality.
Funny how Spider-man 2 is my favorite comic book film. Thing is someone says oh I like TDK more than the MCU you flip your shit.
That is why when you got your ass kicked you retreated to box office. Box office does not equate into a quality film.
It says whichever one is more marketable not which is received better critically. MCU has been beaten critically many times even before TDK. Spider-man 2 craps on any MCU movie critically.
That would be interesting indeed. Bring Hugh in as a villain. That way he gets his longtime wish (he has begged in interviews to be in the Marvel Universe, in his friendly amusing way, of course) but is also in a brand new role so we break away from that FOX universe too.
And I can't wait to see what they do with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool now. Tone it down Disney style to PG-13, or keep it hard R.
Wow... This one is actually going to happen! Not sure if I should feel really excited or a little concern about this news. There is one thing for sure, on the plus side, how Fantastic Four could potentially get a great reboot it needs.
They'll reboot everything related to the X-Men with the exception of Deadpool.
In the MCU both Quicksilver [who is never mentioned by that name] and Wanda are labeled as "augmented" [or altered? Can't remember] and not as "mutants". That gives them some space to maneuver around the term and the X-Men.
I doubt Marvel will continue the Deadpool films. R-rated films are not in the Studios plans. If they reboot the X-Men franchise, they reboot it completely.
