Elfman VS Junkie XL ! Is this a battle of generation?

One thing I noticed looking at people who liked or disliked Elfman score is that people who hates it and say they miss Junkie XL are in their 20's and grew up with Nolan take on Batman while most people who absolutely love it and freak out that the old Batman theme is in the film are in their thirties and grew up with Burton Batman and the animated series and there are a smaller fraction in the middle who feels classic themes should stay in the past . Personally I was never blown away by Junkie XL score in Batman vs Superman, only thing I liked was Wonder Woman theme and that will be on Justice League so I am not really upset about Junkie XL exclusion. Where do you guys stand on this?
