No doubt this will be better than "Thor Ragnarok"
Which has like 1 hour of childish jokes
shareHighly doubt that.
sharethe battle of bad cgi
shareI seriously doubt that.
And I find it very telling that DC fans don't appreciate humor and its entertainment value.
It's not that I don't appreciate humour, it's just the humour in comic book movies seems so forced and unnatural. It's like the actors in the movie are winking at the audience like "Ah, we're having fun, we hope you're having fun. Look how unserious and fun we are." It just takes me out of the movie every time.
shareWell I'm not too picky where humor is concerned, I work in the helping professions and see enough ugly reality to welcome any chance for a good laugh. So yeah, movies that mix adventure, humor, and something other than the real world are my particular favorites. Marvel hits the spot, well, hits it enough of the time that I keep going back.
But as to the question of whether "Thor" is better than "Justice League", well, JL still has a lot of Snyder's footage left. It may be better than BvsS, but it can't possibly be great.
80% of the humor in Ragnarok was improvised.
And yes, the actors are allowed to have fun. Specially actors who are allowed to improvise. They prefer it, the mood in the setting is better and it shows in the movie.
I hope JL isn't filled with crappy jokes, Thats what killed GOTG2 for me. I'm seem to be the minority that preferred BVS(EE) to WW and hope JL stays a true so we get a good end to the Snyder trilogy. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞
shareThe trailers seem to point out for jokes.
Jokes are fine. Nothing wrong with jokes, quips or humorous silliness.
It can be better, but it might be hard.
shareWith DCU's track record...I wouldn't be too sure.
shareLet the boxoffice talk. I think DC died after TDK.
sharein all fairness, every DCEU has been a box office smash. They are now coming off of their biggest hit yet in Wonder Woman.
The lowest grossing fIilm was the first entry, MOS. They even had one of the biggest, leg-iest films of last year with Suicide Squad...a villains caper.
Of course it will. Ha. That's why WB/DC have embargo on the reviews.
