I was horrified they tied the message to such a good-sized stone and threw it onto the city from so far above. What if fell straight onto someone's head? Did anyone else get bothered by this?
Also, why did they throw down a SINGLE message - just like the narration in the movie, it could have so easily got lost.
I didnt see a notebook lying around with some sharpie pens did you?

shareI'm not sure how they wrote it, but the paper was a tin-can label & it was tied to the rock w/ (I think) Doon's other shoelace (as he used the first one to repair the huge moth's wing). IMO, they should've tossed down the escape instructions that they found in the box.

I personally would have just started using the hole for relief, surely after a week or so of having faeces and wee raining down someone would want to see where it was coming from.
