Anyone else kind of wish it was longer?

There is just something unique about City of Ember film that I can't quite explain since it reminds me of fun adventure movies like Goonies, Waterworld, etc.

Anyways, I really thought this film could of been longer since I think I would of loved to seen more areas of the underground city of ember, perhaps see more giant bugs/insects/animals/etc and of course more Bill Murray scenes :)

Then again this is family film, rated PG, so I think they intended to keep the film short rather than making a 2 hour film.

I wish they would have made more movies like a triology, with the escape from the city as climax.

The Art design is quite unique.

Longer? Possibly as a suitable alternative to capital punishment for convicts on death row.

Id want to see the sequel as well. People of Sparks.. Im reading Prophet of Yonwood right now. Its a bit odd so far as its actually a prequel to City of Ember..
