Too stunning - I thought he overshadowed Mark W, although admittedly the Mikey character was meant to be more subdued and low-key...
Difficult to know how Christian Bale could play a resentful unstable crackhead and not steal scenes from a regular guy trying to make his way.
Stunning film though.

Bale was loads better than everyone else (even though everyone else was brilliant aswell) He was just unbelievably good.

Reminded me a bit of Tom Hardy (for example in 'Bronson') - flesh-creeping intense.

He was incredibly good. He was so good my mind was spinning, like I sat there thinking about it and knew it had to be him, and yet it wasn't. It was almost creepy.

Yes he is one of the most talented actors and so versatile. His portrayal is so perfect.
