but The Fighter just has a better script.

The Fighter has better dialogue but Warrior has a greater emotional punch and left more of an impact on me.

Still, I find The Fighter more engaging.
Both good films featuring good acting and similar themes, but I'd give it to "The Fighter", because it's based more on real events.
I did find it hard in Warrior to believe the high school teacher was so poor he had to go to fight to make ends meet whilst possibly getting injured requiring further medical costs.
