What I love about Bales performance

He simply holds nothing back because the real guy holds nothing back, he has no filter and Bale channeled that. It obviously results in people who can't stand such a big performance but so what, that's who Dicky is. He's not going to tone down a real person just for some people on message boards.

And greatness like this performance is almost a favor to people who hate him because now they can complain about over acting or whatever but again, so what, that's who Dicky is. It's a bit like people complaining about De Niro putting on all that weight for Raging Bull saying "that's not acting", but it doesn't matter because it's such an impeccable performance.
