Am I the only one who wasn't a big fan to this movie? I don't know why, but I just wasn't.
sharei think all boxing movies get mixed responses,look at the rocky films,and the champ,i saw a film in the mid 90's called gladiators,i thought it was good but my mates thought it was s h i t.
shareI have a built-in bias against sports films because I generally find sports boring, and I never care about the inevitable finale: "Seconds to go, everything's riding on it, will they win or lose, yes of course they'll win in almost every film except "The Wrestler" and "Dodgeball: A True Underdog story." But this had enough going for it outside of boxing to keep me casually entertained until that inevitable finale.
6/10 stars from me, which means I wasn't a big fan of this film either.
