they showed Dicky in prison going through withdrawals which is incorrect. cocaine withdrawals aren't physical they are mental. I'm assuming the screenwriters assumed that cocaine withdrawals are the same as heroin withdrawals. I guess it's possible that he was on other drugs but still

Cocaine isn't physical... CRACK IS.
The Baking Soda changes the Chemical Compound and that's why there are Physical Withdrawals and "Crack Babies" etc... Its a completely different drug. He also was on Dope, although the film stays away from that
