Why not Kill the Myans?

Bottom line here is that the Myans clearly knew there was a serious problem with the vines growing on this pyramid, yet they did nothing to warn anyone of the danger. Nor did they seek the assistance of any "outsider," such as the health ministry of a 21st century country, to fix the problem. They even murdered a small child, instead of getting a real medical team to address all of this. I'm sure the USA could have taken care of this problem in a few hours with the right herbicide, and cured any "infected" person with a regimen of antibiotics.

So I say kill the damn Myans by any means possible, even if it means throwing the vines at them or whatever. They deserved to die for their ignorance and their worship of false gods.
