Director's Cut??

I recorded this from HBO or one of the other Premium DirecTv channels because we got new equipment about a month ago, and I lost about 60 movies. I'd watched it before at least a dozen times.
But I was watching this one...the one I just recorded...the other day, and it has quite a bit more to it, like longer scenes with a little different feel to them. I had a migraine when I watched it before, but I remember thinking at different times that the whole movie seemed different.
Does anyone know if there are supposed to be a shorter and an uncut version of the movie?
Just curious. TIA

Don't know for sure. I have the Blu-ray release of this, and it only has one version of the film (plus an alternate ending). But a lot of films get scenes added to them in the broadcast version for TV, without the director being involved or giving his/her approval. Maybe that version was never intended for broader release.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

There's an unrated cut where you see the vine crawl across Amy's eye as she drives away. Also a part in the beginning where Eric and Stacy have a sexual encounter in the tent the first night. The unrated was much better but nothing beats the book.

are you talking about when they are in bed at the beginning and right before then she is naked? because i dont' remember them having sex in that scene. i just remember them being in bed together.
