its an opera not a musical
opera is in the title. a lot of people on this board seem to be confused, especially with those complaining about all the lines being sung (instead of having everything divided between songs and dialogue).
shareI don't care. If you're going to have your characters sing everything, like an opera, at least try yo make it sound like music.
It's actually one of my favorite movies, and I'll admit that most of the music has grown on me, but you can't excuse some really awkward sounding dialogue by saying, "it's supposed to be like that."
