I was going to watch this movie, but then I saw Ms. Hilton starred in it and moved on... quickly.

Look, I hate Paris Hilton...but I have to say, she's surprisingly good in this movie. And is an amazing singer at that. And trust me, it hurts me to even acknowledge that.

Paris was actually one of the surprisenly less annoying things about this POS. The movie is an incredible stinker, a total waste of time, money, and talent. I feel bad for the actors who had to be in this (it was like they lost a bet or owed favors or something); most of the scenes are cringe-inducingly bad. The music is a repetative mess; the lyrical equivalent of a bad nursery rhyme as interpretted by middle school children who try to add profanity to sound cool. The whole thing takes itself way too seriously and doesn't seem to realize goth died about 10 years prior to its making. It looks like Hot Topic was trying to get rid of the very last of it's 90s Marilyn Manson-esque inventory. On top of all that, it also tries way too hard to be a cult movie; you can't just market your movie as "cult" and expect people to accept it as such. There's forced Rocky Horror-style showings (that are thankfully dying out) with people getting dressed up and acting out along to people shouting pre-scripted lines - SO not a true cult experience. The whole thing is just too pretentious and laughable to be taken seriously.

oh my god but it's worth watching her in it! They basically cast her in order to exploit spoiled heiresses like her. They (metaphorically and physically) ripped her apart! She's not SUPPOSED to be good. She's supposed to be Paris Hilton.

I was really impressed with Paris Hilton's performance. Besides, she doesn't have a lot of screen-time.
