I liked it
No, the film isn't a work of art, if you watch these kinds of movies with the expectation of godfather like proportions you are going to be disappointed.
I had fun watching it

I enjoyed it also. I'm surprised at all the negative comments.
shareI kinda dug large parts of it too.
But I still don't know what was in the file that Whitman showed Salinger in the Police station after the shootout in the Guggenheim?

I really enjoyed watching the movie. I hadn't been interested because I don't like espionage movies but I LOVE Clive Owen. When I started watching, the movie carried me along and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
The Guggenheim scene was wonderful, with all kinds of surprises. Wow!
I enjoyed it too and Clive Owen was better than he sometimes is. I liked the villain (the BCCI and its CEOs) - made me think of Quantum in the latest Bond films and quite believable. Global enslavement through debt...a bit David Icke but then again plausible!
...now I do it just to watch their f----n' expression change.
"global enslavement through debt"....makes me think of....the world today. quite plausible. that alone made this film imho VERY interesting. think i will watch it again.
