Does this movie have anything to do with Horton Hears A Who?

The word Horten sounds similar to Horton, and the story of Horton Hears A Who takes place on the fifteenth of May which is the release date for this movie. Is this just a coincidence or do they have any connections?

Nope. And how could you even imagine a link? You have a very "interesting" mind.

Horten is not pronounced like Horton in any case. Where one is an animated character Horten is an actual person.

They are not even from the same country (production wise).

Horton the elephant and Horten the train driver are both conservative characters who get opened up to new world, one when he hears a Who, and the other by making friends with the eccentric doctor.
