Tiara worn at the end

Is it an actual piece or was it made for the film? If it is an actual piece, does anyone know it's name?

[Ed note] By actual peice, I didn't mean the actual crown. I doubt very much that the QEII would let a film borrow any of her jewels, much less a film where Fergie is the producer. Obviously it's a copy, but they wouldn't just make up a crown for the film. They would have choosen one from her personal collection to be as accurate as possible. So when I said "actual peice" I mean't an actual crown owned by the monarchy, not a crown made up by the prop director on the film.

I doubt very much the real crown would have been used for the film. It is a copy of St Edward's Crown, used for every coronation.

The Long Walk stops every year, just once.

Sorry I mean't tiara.

It wasn't St. Edward's crown. I'm talking about the one at the very end of the film when Albert and Victoria walk into the room and the camera freezes on them before it ends.

It's such a stunning peice. You have a great eye for tiaras lol. Thanks so much for finding the name for me. I think this would be my second favorite (after the beautiful Cambridge Lovers Knot tiara).

It's generally referred to as The George III Tiara, it's part of the Queen's personal jewel collection ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Personal_Jewel_Collection_of_Elizabeth_II#The_George_III_Tiara - see the top painting for an idealized look) ; interestingly enough, it can be mounted as a tiara (spikes pointing up) or a necklace (spikes pointing down).

i believe it can be worn as a necklace too.
