I think that the hotel that they are all sunbathing in is Sol Pelicanos.
I noticed that the signs outside the hotel have been changed. But I think that is the hotel I stayed in.
I think that the sister hotel Sol Ocas is also featured (Ocas is the one in the first episode with Steve Pemberton walking out of and going across the road).
I just wondered if anyone could confirm this to prove my point...

sharei stayed there late last year, signs were up everywhere saying not to interfere with filming. place was empty as it was out of season

The exterior to 'Neptunes Bar' is nearly identical to the exterior of the Morgan Tavern. I have never been in Morgan Tavern, so they could have filmed in there... the exterior for the bar with the ship shape doors was located at the side of Sol Pelicanos. I was there a few weeks ago and I have took pictures to compare. They must have put a temporary ship-like set there for filming and then they took it back down afterwards. I did think it was the Morgan Tavern at first but on closer inspection, it wasnt (exterior anyway).

I live here and I was working at the Pelicanos when the producers were scouting for locations.
It was great fun! Neptunes Bar was Morgan Tavern and they have actually kept one or two pieces of the TV set because it looked so good!
I haven't actually seen any episodes 'cos I don't get English telly but my mum says she saw me!!!!
We spent 2 weeks in July 2007 at Pelicanos and that wonderful Lake Pool featured on the TV. We just love the programme and hope ITV make more. It great to see the actual parts of the pool where we spent time.
I believe the accommodation they filmed the inside shots was not the hotel but the big flats to the North of the sister hotels, you could see out the window in Series 1 with a view of the Lake Pool side on.
