Ok, time to put this show to bed now.

Having watched all three episodes of this new series, I can say they have finally run out of stories to tell. This series has been abysmal.
I don't know if it is different writers, but the quality has dropped big time.

Its such a shame because the first few series were brilliant but there are too many key characters missing now. I miss Mel (cant be helped I know) but Troy and Gavin were my other faves along with The Oracle and his mum, and the new characters are grating more than amusing. I should probably stop watching and remember when it made me really laugh.

Goodnight, good luck and may your God go with you

Agreed, I don't even watch it anymore, the only reason I'm on these boards right now is because there is a repeat (Series 2) on ITV4 on now and it reminded me of when it was funny, so I thought I'd come here and see what people were saying about it!

The characters used to be sharply observed... you could just picture the type in Benidorm.

But they've just become caricatures now. Matteo is a lot dimmer than before, the hairdresser is painfully predictable, the swinger couple (Donald and Jacqueline) stretched their already larger-than-life personalities.

Benidorm now focuses too much on eccentrics like the manager and Buck A Roo. I miss the chavs, Johnny Vegas, the big family's daughter, and all the rest.
