I haven't watch series 4 yet but without Johnny Vegas in it I think it might not be as good as the first 3 series. I guess he is busy with Ideal which is so funny.

i thought jeff was the most intentional pathetic character at the hotel. also being a dick to his sweet but daft mum, just made his pathetic behavior unfunny.
shareJohnny Vegas was brilliant in Benidorm, and his absence is one of many things that have lowered the quality of the program to the point that it's now totally unfunny and not worth watching.
shareAccording to an article I read last week, Geoff Maltby and his Mum and also Chrissy are returning in Series Seven. Hope this is true.
On the downside, the Garveys will leave during Series 7 and Madge will not be back at all.
The Garveys leaving & no Madge?! Aw, they'll need a darn good replacement family to fill their shoes. Will Steve Pemberton no longer contribute to the script then?

shareYes, to confirm, Johnny is credited with appearing in 5 of the 7 episodes of Benidorm series 7 that were first broadcast in January and February 2015, although I'm sure everyone knows this by now!
