I must be missing something...
...but I just don't get the 'humour' in Pauline's alcoholism. They brought her back to have a relapse and it just seems so poorly written and with musical numbers such as 'Welcome Home' when she falls off the wagon or the joke about Paul Gascoigne. It's just in bad taste completely.
