how the hell old is this guy? his gruff old man voice and gnarly face confuses me. 40? an old looking 35? nevertheless he was good.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

He is awesome in The Iceman, the story of Richard Kuklinski, the mob hit man with the biggest body count (over 100). Shannon is The Friggin Man!

Michael Shannon is terrific in this film. Sadly, no one else shows the kind of uncanny vitality that he displays in his brief appearance in this film.

I agree with you all. Watch his other films, notably Take Shelter, one of the best films I've ever seen.

It was ok, but I'd rather recommend: "99 Homes", "Shotgun Stories", "Bug".

I recognized him from Boardwalk Empire. Did a great job in that as well.
