Just saw this film and the part where he's telling April that she's "not worth the powder it would take to blow you up" still gets me everytime. Seriously, how was this overlooked???

Well, the academy is over 90% old, white, and male. I think they've deliberately kept Leo out so as not to support the teen heart throbs (though he's certainly outgrown that stage by now).

I agree... for me, this is one of his best... very solid performance

I think the film got less Oscars noms than the producers expected.
