Everything I've read says absolutely nothing has been done on it in over five years. Does DiCaprio even still have the rights or has he lost them and they hushed that up?

I was reading yesterday that Scorcese has been talking about his new project (now that Killers of the Flower Moon has premiered) and it had nothing to do with The Devil in The White City (and I don't remember what it was, sorry)
I really thought this would be a Great project, shame.
