The pilot is amazing.
In fact its the smartest pilot I have seen in a while in which I must already have watched it half a dozen times. What do I like about it? Well...everything! Not to mention the major characters, even the minor characters like Mom, the lady who works at the newstation with Dale, come alive. Switching back and forth with the other planet is done so well that it does not lose any of its credibility. A million things are interwoven in a truly original whole consisting of cool all the way. Everyone is smart and friendly. Honestly, I can't find a single problem with it. How is that possible?
