If you are as geeky as me about Moonlight you need to check out this website made by a fan that shows all the filming locations for Moonlight on a Google map. Lots of research went into this. It's truly amazing in my view.
I'm a geek and love every moment of Moonlight (and sincerely miss it still), but I am by far not as talented, nor as dedicated, as you or "Mick," whose brilliant Google-map work you have conveniently linked hereon. I do, however, agree with you: That map is "truly amazing"! (And Mick's website is quite entertaining, as well:) Thank you for providing both links.

I did go on my own tour using this map and it was a lot of fun. I never made it to the Motel from Hell, so maybe in the future. Plus I discovered the FLD elevators in downtown LA in a building at One Bunker Hill, an old art deco building, you know, the elevators where Mick gets close to Morgan. They are not on this map. Fans have discovered a few more sites using Google Earth, like the alley where Mick jumps down the fire escape in Fever and others. Yes, you need to be a geek to enjoy such things.
It's dedication more than you can imagine, sweety. And, yes, the lady who made this site is quite talented and dedicated. Also she made a "moonlight tour map" of all the filming sites.
Hey, helloeeze. I have a question for you--did anything ever happen with the crazy lady who stole all the money from the fans (the ads in THR and the conventions) and then disappeared? It's been so long ago that I don't even remember her name. I was so broke when Moonlight was cancelled that I only had ten bucks to donate to the cause, and now I am glad that it was only 10 dollars. Just wondering about whatever came of the whole debacle...
Everybody on her fan board left and she closed it down. Fans inquired with the police over various of her misdeeds, the last one being she stole (apparently) a very expensive gift put together by fans of very expensive cigars and a humidor as a gift for Alex. She was supposed to see that he got it....he never did. The police wouldn't do anything about it. Small potatoes for them.
She did stiff Variety magazine for quite a sizeable sum though. Yeah, she's gone.
There is a website dedicated to all her misdeeds which makes a mockery of her but there hasn't been any activity on it in a long time. Some fans had a lot of techo savvy and found cached internet stuff from her old websites. Turns out she has scammed people for many years even before Moonlight... she has also been a witch and had a porn site! Really bizarre woman and such a liar!
